A multi-agency investigation is now underway to determine the cause of yesterday’s bus crash near Brandon Hill, St. Andrew which left 35 persons injured.
It will involve the Road Safety Unit which will deploy a team today.
“We’ll be looking to see what could have caused that motor vehicle to go over the precipice and to see what extent that colision could have been prevented. We will be having a critical look at the crash. We are happy that no one died in this crash. Just hearing about that crash – it brought back memories to me when a truck went over in Portland ten years ago…..” said Kenute Hare, head of Road Safety unit.
Meanwhile -Up to late last night 22 persons were still being treated at the Kingston Public Hospital after the incident that occured shortly after 2pm.
