Brother Muhammad was such a brave and outspoken man. He was not afraid at all to take a stand when it came to black people. I don’t agree with some of his beliefs such as, when he talked about the Civil Rights workers. He did not back down on this show or for anyone. Very intelligent man. Although many people didn’t like his straightforwardness, he spoke the truth and as usual, they wanted to silence him. He was fearless. R.I.P.
The expressions on the white people’s face spoke volumes. I used to post these videos on my fb page regularly. During those days, black people seemed to stand together more than they do in these times.
Happy Sabbath,
Met I watched the entire video and I have one thing to say see below:
“If thy brother, the son of thy mother, or thy son, or thy daughter, or the wife of thy bosom, or thy friend, which is as thine own soul, entice thee secretly, saying, Let us go and serve other gods, which thou hast not known, thou, nor thy fathers; / Namely, of the gods of the people which are round about you, nigh unto thee, or far off from thee, from the one end of the earth even unto the other end of the earth; / Thou shalt not consent unto him, nor hearken unto him; neither shall thine eye pity him, neither shalt thou spare, neither shalt thou conceal him: / But thou shalt surely kill him; thine hand shall be first upon him to put him to death, and afterwards the hand of all the people.”
He is wrong, Caucasian people did not some form the devil and people of color come from G-d. Naa, naa, na I cannot co-sign to that philosophy at all. G-d the Father is not a man up in the sky. He does not have any of our petty insecurities or vices like racism. He is G-d who created all. No body else created anything. And we will all return from whence forth we came… that’s what the bible teaches and what I believe. So, to think or say anything different as person of faith is sign of insecurity (or fear)in my humble opinion. How else can you explain an educated man, and one who confesses to having faith also having such a difficulty seeing God in others, yet see’s G-d clearly in people that looks like them. And, even if he had said he had no faith it shouldn’t matter I think his title as a Dr. should cause him to think empirically. And science has already answer that question for him. That all people came from a common ancestor somewhere in Africa. Their explanation for the variation in our skin tone is it is caused by the environment in which we live. I don’t know what else to say he is just wrong.
