Dancehall artiste Aidonia is currently recuperating at home after falling ill at Digicel Paggee Fishermen Regatta held in Port Maria, St Mary, on Wednesday.
According to the artiste’s management team, the entertainer — who was billed as the headliner — was unable to perform and had to be taken to hospital.
“We sincerely regret the unfortunate situation as we are aware the fans came out in their droves to see a great performance. [We] would like to apologise to the organisers, sponsors and patrons,” said a release to the media.
The management team said a full refund was issued to the organisers.
