The police have confirmed that the body of nine-year-old Kyle Richards, who was swept away by floodwaters in August Town, St Andrew on Wednesday, has been found.
The constabulary’s Corporate Communications Unit (CCU) said it was unable to provide further details at this time.
The boy, a student of Hope Valley Experimental School in the parish, reportedly got into difficulties as he made his way home from school following persistent afternoon showers.
The incident occurred shortly after 3:00 pm.
