The body of a student of the Jericho Primary School was retrieved from the Jericho River in Linstead, St. Catherine on Tuesday morning.
RJR News understands that the six year-old was pushed into the river by another boy on Monday.
A search and rescue operation was carried out. However, due to challenges it was called off and resumed Tuesday morning.
Lord have mercy on the little boy soul, his parents and family and the one who did it. Sad case.
