Patrick Oliver Cunningham, a 39-year-old black man, was shot and killed on Monday, July 6, in the 17000 block of Vermont Avenue in Gardena, according to Los Angeles County coroner’s records.
Gardena police officers received a call at 3:36 p.m. about a male gunshot victim lying in front of 17033 S. Vermont Ave., according to a department news release. When they arrived, officers found one gunshot victim who was conscious and then discovered another gunshot victim, later identified as Cunningham.
Coroner’s records said the two men had been arguing and exchanged gunfire.
Both men were taken to Harbor UCLA Medical Center, where Cunningham was pronounced dead at 4:48 p.m., according to coroner’s records.
The first gunshot victim went into surgery and survived, said Gardena Detective Bureau Commander Lt. Russ Temple. “This is a complicated case, and as yet, we have had no arrests.”
The case is still under investigation. Anyone with information is asked to call Det. Mike Ross at (310) 217-9635. Those who wish to remain anonymous can call Crime Stoppers at (800) 222-8477.

When the perpetrator has been previously arrested in an alias or had inauthentic paperwork upon arrest, their details will be stored in the system under the alias (especially if they entered the country before fingerprinting at the airport was implemented). Upon death, the fingerprints taken in the morgue will match the stored data. Unless there is evidence presented to the contrary, he is listed as dead in that name. Funny thing is, Damion Blake is still alive and it would be so problematic if there was actually an insurance policy when the death certificate is issued in another name.
As much information that has been released on this here site, I would be most surprised that a number of Jamaicans haven’t already called that crimestopper number.
Still confuse about this shooting. Did Bready die inside the Mexican house or outside the house, some distance from where the actual shooting took place? If outside, did he leave the house and then collapsed or was the body dumped before the police got there?

Unless he has fingerprints on record in Jamaica they can use to confirm he is who he is, then he will be buried in the wrong name. And unless his children had that name on their birth certificate, it would be impossible to claim their father is dead, legally of course.

If the cops had found any drugs or heard the story of a drug deal gone bad, the Mexican would have been charged with murder in the commission of a crime. Radio stations must be licensed by the FCC pursuant to 47 U.S.C. S: 301.
The only exception to this licensing requirement is for certain
transmitters using or operating at a power level or mode of operation that
complies with the standards established in Part 15 of the Commission’s
rules, 47 C.F.R. S:S: 15.1 et seq. The field strength of the signal on
frequency 93.5 MHz was measured at 17,184 microvolts per meter (uV/m) at
1014 meters, which exceeded the maximum permitted level of 250 uV/m at 3
