A British woman who was charged with several drug offences was sentenced to two years imprisonment when she appeared in the St. James Parish Court on Monday.
She is Alaha Robotham of Birmingham, England.
She was arrested at the Sangster International Airport on February 15 this year, after she attempted to board a flight to Frankfurt, Germany with ganja and cocaine valued at just less than J$3 million.
The drugs were concealed in canned products inside her suitcase.
Robotham was charged with possession of attempting to export cocaine and ganja.
