Known for her hard-hitting and infectious lyrics, artiste Stacious has created history by being the first Jamaican artiste to be named ‘The Face of Bijoux Caribbean’.
Explaining that she was quite surprised when she got the call from the hair company, Stacious told THE STAR that she is overjoyed with the selection.
“It was surreal. I wasn’t sure if it was real at first, but it turned out to be the real deal,” she said, with a smile.
She recently returned to the island after spending five days in Miami doing promotions, video shoots and working on a documentary for the hair brand.
“It was great. They had a hair competition with some of Miami’s biggest hairstylists and the winner got to do my hair for the photo shoot. It’s really an honour that they chose someone from Jamaica to be the brand ambassador, and I’m even more honoured that they chose me,” she said.
With the business of hair thriving and growing, the My Time singer is busy promoting the Bijoux hair line, with her image appearing on most of the marketing material packages.
“I represent Bijoux at all times. They have quality products that are long lasting and economical. Plus, they have great deals. They try to cater to the needs of their clients. No other hair company has invested in consumers as Bijoux. I’m not saying that because I am the face of Bijoux Caribbean – I’m saying this because I know it to be fact,” she added.
With a wide range of products from lace, front wigs to synthetic hair, braids and human hair, the artiste has already picked out her favourite.
“I love their products especially the Soprano Remi and the Virgin Brazilian Natural Wave. Those are my favourites.”
In the meantime, Stacious is also busy promoting her latest singles Bounce and Going Out Tonight. She is also gearing up for the release of her first reggae single titled, Found Love, which features reggae crooner Gramps Morgan.
