Patient zero, a woman from the UK who visited Jamaica to attend a funeral in the community of seven miles Bull Bay. The community was quickly quarantined and there wasn’t a big outbreak after the funeral and COVID19 diagnosis. The numbers went up slowly almost island-wide and Jamaica’s Ministry of Health began making checks on complaints and workplaces to see if they were keeping up with distancing guidelines.

Employees from the various call-centers began voicing their concern about the lack of social distancing , sanitation and having to have to share headsets. Some call centers began to give out a mask and a pair of glove that was to last the whole shift. Alorecia, the call center at the epicenter of the weak link in Jamaica’s COVID19 fight, still kept their employees in the building and it is alleged that when the M.O.H visited Alorecia’s building, employees were move around to other rooms for it to appear as if social distancing rules were being adhered . Needless to say one of their male employees fell sick and tested positive and almost half of the person’s tested by the MOH from Alorecia tested positive

  1. If it is proven that the company heads were complicit in deceiving the Ministry of Health and exposing their employees to work in a high risk environment then they should pay a hefty fine and face some jail time.

  2. Employees shouldn’t have moved around or hide. But then again dem need the likkle work/money

Gravalicious, uncaring employers dem be. Prosecute dem to the fullest extent of the law
