The manager of a children’s home in Linstead, St. Catherine is in custody charged with raping a ward of the state at the facility.
The 46 year old man was charged last week following an investigation by the St. Catherine North Police and the Centre for Investigation of Sexual Offences and Child Abuse (CISOCA).
He is booked to appear before the St. Catherine Parish Court Friday on charges of rape, having sex with a minor and sexual touching.
It is alleged that the accused took three wards of the state to his house claiming he wanted to expose them to the running of a stable home.
It is alleged that he sexually assaulted one of them.
The matter was reported to CISOCA and, following a probe, the manager was arrested.

He should be identified so that other possible victims can come forward because I would bet this wasn’t his first offence. Dawg shit
