The foundation of reagge music was built on Rastafarian culture and so,you could hear it in the earlier dancehall tracks. We must find a way to connect the youths to their foundation urgently.

All these international stars r taking our dance moves n putting it in their videos n a mke money. The jamaican dancers who create d moves aren’t getting any recognition 4 their creativity r even a pay cheque fr d like of Justin Beiber, Beyonce, Rihanna etc. Look at Justin Beiber music video for “Sorry” everything in it is dancehall n d New Zealand choreographer a tke all d credit like she’s d one tht made up d dance moves. Dem thief d Butterfly n call it tootsie roll, dem thief Dutty Wine n call it wipe d hair. It’s full time jamaicans dancehall faternity cum together n tke bck what is there’s.
