COURT AWARDS MORAVIAN MINISTER 16M IN DEFAMATION LAWSUIT

The Supreme Court has awarded $16 million to former Moravian minister DrCanute Thompson in his defamation lawsuit filed against gender activist Latoya Nugent.

The court has also ordered that she pays legal costs.

Nugent was not in court for the ruling.

The court had entered a default judgment against Nugent after she failed to respond to the claim filed by Thompson.

Nugent, the founder of the advocacy group Tambourine Army, is alleged to have posted comments on Facebook defaming Thompson sometime after the arrest of another Moravian Minister, Rupert Clarke, for sex crimes against a minor.

More details soon.

  1. Fukka yuh ,some of unno lesbos too bloodxlaart overly aggressive as social media warriors!!!Shoulda $88 mil the least Dem fined her.No respect for law and order, just type anything and feel there’s no consequences!!

  2. The case was not actually tried. None of the facts were either proven or disproven. This is just a default judgment which was allowed a good amount of expedition through the courts. In some cases a default judgment may be overturned. This judgment means nothing as far as the facts of the case go. There is no vindication. She needs to seek a lawyer to overturn this judgment asap (it will be hard).

  3. She basically said and did nothing when the claim was brought. When she did fi loud up her mouth she said nothing, did not even bother to show up to court. Sorry, when you go hard for a cause you must be prepared to go the distance, come what may. Well this it what came, she needs to deal with it.
