COURT LEGGO THREE FIRE BOMBERS BECAUSE WITNESS NUH SHOW UP A COURT

HANNA TOWN

THE High Court on Tuesday freed three men accused of firebombing the Hannah Town Police Station during the May 2010 police/military operation to apprehend then Tivoli Gardens strongman Christopher ‘Dudus’ Coke.

The men were freed after the prosecution’s witnesses — all police officers — failed to attend court for trial on more than a dozen occasions.

Dwayne Robinson, Anthony Lawes and Craig Dawson were freed of arson, illegal possession of a firearm, shooting with intent and possession of a prohibited substance charges.

A fourth man, Calvin Bernard, was killed at a party in 2013, days after an attempt had been made on his life.

The four were arrested in 2010 following allegations they were among a group of armed men who shot up then firebombed the Hannah Town Police Station, causing police personnel to flee the station.

The incident occurred as men loyal to Coke fought with law enforcers who were trying to arrest the former strongman, who was wanted in the United States on drugs and gun charges.

  1. I know its wrong to promote the ‘eye for an eye’ mentality but I am not upset that they let these men go even though they may have actually bombed the station. there are a lot of police officers who are going to walk free for the murders in tivoli even though they have witnesses. I just hope the men they let free dont go and murder innocent people
