What is wrong with this tradition?
Why are you supposing or suggesting that these people don’t have a job or business?
I’m very happy to see seen like this.I grew up in a time when politics was a word synonymous with violence, when you would refer to someone as a PNP yute or a labourite bredda from over so and so.
Now,my closest friend and even my woman is a labourite,we disagree on most political topics concerning Jamaica, but we agree on anything to better Jamaica.
We are Garrison people, but we are Jamaicans first.I love my culture and our traditions and we should never change to please anyone, after all, welcoming our hard working political leaders from both sides is not hurting anyone.
Gwaan enjoy your short one year term Andrew.
