Wayne Rowe, a 25 year old man who is charged with having sexual intercourse with someone under the age of 16, is to return to court in 2020.
The committal hearing date for January 14 was set Thursday when the appeared in the St. Elizabeth Parish court.
It was reported that in March this year, members of the Junction Police went to a guesthouse in St. Elizabeth where Mr. Rowe was allegedly found with a girl.
It is alleged that the student left home to attend a function at her school but went to the guesthouse where Mr. Rowe had checked in over night.
Both persons allegedly admitted to have engaged in sexual intercourse.
