A man claiming to be a family member sent FOX13 disturbing video of an infant being thrown and abused by a woman. He told us he took it as evidence and proof to get the 19-day-old boy help.
It’s 13 minutes long and shows the alleged mother throwing the crying baby. At one point, the woman asks another child she’s holding to throw the baby; the girl in bloodcurdling screams cries, “No.”
The video was immediately sent to Memphis police.
“What I saw was disturbing, and I’m glad that we’re investigating,” said MPD Public Information Officer Louis Brownlee, “Just as a parent you just hate to see children hurt or abused.”
“We would like to thank FOX for passing along the video,” said Brownlee, “The investigation’s ongoing, and depending on upon when the investigation reveals that will dictate how we proceed forward.”
In the last minute of the video, a man picks up the infant and takes him away. He told reporters that he took the video as evidence to help get the infant to safety.
The woman seem to have some mental issues, and with a young child seems to have some kind of PPD issues..Poor babies, hope they all get help..prayers..
This is so heartbreaking. Hopefully baby boy is now safe from further harm.
