The Indian Express reports that on Saturday a matter concerning a murder in Northeast Delhi’s Khajuri Khas was reported to the local area police.
A 36 year old man turned himself in after torturing and killing a 45 year old man who had raped his 14 year old daughter. The police reported that the man invited the 45 year old to dinner and after he finished eating he tied him to a chair and tortured him using heated thongs , then strangled him to death. The man who lived with his wife and children was a medical supplier who raped the young girl two months prior and the father said he went on with his life and was happy while his daughter was suffering.
He also stated that he did not report the incident out of fear that his daughter would earn a bad name.
He did the right thing.
