More guns found at wharf in Kingston

For the second time in less than 48 hours, there has been a major gun find at a wharf in Kingston.

The police, along with the Contraband Enforcement Team of the Jamaica Customs Agency, seized sixteen firearms Thursday.

This followed the seizure of ten firearms and 640 rounds of ammunition at a wharf in Kingston on Tuesday.

The Counter-Terrorism and Organised Crime Investigations Branch (C-TOC), the Narcotics Division and the Contraband Enforcement Team conducted secondary operations at the container terminal where they discovered the sixteen 9 millimetre pistols, 16 magazines and one 9 millimetre round of ammunition.
