The security forces in Westmoreland this morning seized four homemade firearms and took two juveniles into custody amidst ongoing operations in the parish.
OBSERVER ONLINE is unsure at this time if the arrests were in relation to the seizure.
The Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) in a Twitter post this afternoon said the juveniles were apprehended in the Whitehorn area of the parish.
When contacted, the police’s Corporate Communications Unit said it could not provide any more information in relation to the incidents.
