HOW TO RECOGNIZE A LYING TONGUE- GOOD MORNING

HOW TO RECOGNIZE A LYING TONGUE

“And he said unto the woman, yea hath God said, ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden.” Genesis 3:1

A lying tongue always speaks contrary to the word of God. It speaks contrary to what God has said concerning you. It speaks against God’s promises in your life. It attempts to shift your focus and nullify the power of God’s word in your life. It builds up argument against the reality of God’s word in your situation or circumstance and contends against God’s purpose, plan and intention for your life. But the devil is a liar, the plans and purpose of God shall surely come to pass in your life. The enemy will never rejoice over you.

When Satan came to Eve in the garden, he came to challenge what God had said. He made efforts to convince Eve that what God has said is not true. That is a lying tongue. God had given clear instructions in Genesis 2:16-17 about the fruits in the garden. Now, the devil came to challenge it. That has always been his strategy and it has not changed; he arises always to speak and do something contrary to what God has spoken concerning you. But the Bible tells us that “a lying tongue is but for a moment”. It is the lip of truth that shall be established. This is why as a believer you need to be vigilant and alert in your spirit.

God is saying to you today “don’t listen to a lying tongue. The devil will jump on your shoulder and tell you “your prayer will not work. You are wasting your time. You are already above 40 years, no man will marry you. In your family, no one has ever succeeded, therefore stop wasting your time. You can never succeed. Oh! You are confessing the word “It will not work”. Beloved that is a lying tongue speaking. Don’t listen to it. What he says is a lie. Any voice that speaks contrary to the counsel of God is a lying tongue. Reject it. It is not your portion.

Whatever the adversary has spoken or pronounced concerning you will not stand in Jesus’ name, for it is written “who is he that saith and it cometh to pass, when the Lord commandeth it not” (Lam. 3:37 KJV). Beloved, be strong and rejoice in the Lord for if it is not of the Lord, it will not stand.
