Carmax Jamaica Limited head Ian Lyn has been put on a watch list at all ports by the police.
Lyn is being sought for questioning by the Police Fraud Squad and has been asked to turn himself in.
Yesterday, Daren Blake, a director of Carmax Jamaica Limited was taken into custody.
Superintendent Anthony McLaughlin, who heads the Fraud Squad, told The Gleaner yesterday that more than 20 persons have come forward with allegations that Carmax failed to pay over more than $40 million it collected from the sale of motor vehicles on their behalf.
According to Superintendent McLaughlin, the complainants include politicians, executives and members of the security forces.
He says the Carmax director was taken into custody yesterday and is now being questioned in the presence of his attorney and will be charged with fraudulent conversion.
He also revealed that Blake has five similar cases before the Corporate Area Criminal Court and had been out on bail.
