Jack Warner, former FIFA Vice President is being investigated by the United States for money he was given by FIFA towards Haiti earthquake relief in 2010. Reports are that, Warner was given $750,000 by FIFA when he visited the island to help with earthquake relief. There is no record of the money given to relief efforts but evidence shows that Warner transferred the money to his personal accounts. FIFA was said to have donated $3M to Haiti’s relief later by FIFA
Warner has denied the allegations and has stated that he is a victim. He is also facing extradition to the United States to answer to charges of fraud.
