JAMAICAN MAN IN PRISON IN BARBADOS FOR INJURING JOE GRINE

Jamaican man remanded in Barbados prison

A Jamaican man has been remanded to a prison in Barbados until September 6 after admitting to injuring a man who he claimed was intimate with his wife.

Alex Emanuel Golding on Thursday admitted before Magistrate Douglas Frederick to causing serious bodily harm to Kevin Thompson on August 28.

The police reported the two men rented apartments at the same address.

However, a dispute erupted on Monday after Golding, who is in Barbados for athletic training, reportedly discovered that Thompson and his wife were involved in an intimate relationship.

It’s alleged that the Jamaican went into a fit of rage and used a shovel to hit Mr. Thompson in the ear and head.

Golding then went to the police station where he handed over the weapon.
