Vybz Kartel appeal: Attorney urges judges not to order retrial
One of the attorneys representing entertainer Shawn Campbell, otherwise called Shawn Storm, on Tuesday argued that the Appeal Court judges should not order a retrial due to what he calls multiple evidential deficiencies presented by the prosecution.
This was suggested by attorney Bert Samuels as the hearing into the murder convicition of entertainer Vybz Kartel and his co-accused continued Tuesday morning.
He said a retrial would give the prosecution a chance to fix those deficiencies.
Valerie Neita Robertson, the attorney for Vybz Kartel, has begun her submissions before the court.
