In the US, a person who has a law degree has a Juris Doctorate. After that person has passed and been called to the bar, they become an attorney at law.
An LLB is a law degree but effectively it is a bachelors degree in legal studies. It is the prerequisite to application and acceptance into a law program to become an attorney at law in the Caribbean.
