MAN HUNGRY BUT GUNS SEIZED DUNG A ROSE TOWN

The Hunts Bay police are reporting the seizure of two firearms during a vehicle check point operation on Tewana Crescent in Rose Town, Kingston, today.

Reports from the police are that about 12:50 am, their team signalled for a Mazda motor car with three men aboard to stop and the driver complied.

The police searched the vehicle and reportedly found a 9mm Browning pistol with 11 cartridges as well as a .38 Revolver with four cartridges.

Police say the three men were taken into custody; however, their identities are being withheld pending further investigations.
