St. Ann man shot to death while out on bail

Detectives in St. Ann are probing the shooting death of a man who was out on bail for breaches of the Firearm Act.

The deceased has been identified as 32 year-old labourer Lorenzo Cammock, of Edge Hill in St. Ann’s Bay.

His body was found in an area commonly known as Crocodile City in Run Away Bay with a single gun shot wound to his head.

On February 16, Mr. Cammock along with four men were held with an illegal firearm in Lime Hall in the parish.

As part of his bail condition, he was to report to the St. Ann’s Bay police three times per week.

Investigators believe he was taken to the area and killed.
