Muhammad Al-Maghrabi 41 years who raped and killed a three-Year-old girl was shot with an ak rifle in the capital of sana ‘ a on Monday.
The Images Show Maghrabi lying on the floor with his hands tied to his back before a soldier standing on him opens fire.
The execution was watched by a crowd of thousands of people who gathered on the city’s main square.
The Sharia law is the source of all legislation in Yemen.
Under the law, murder is punishable by the death penalty, the victim’s family also has the power to reduce the sentence.
Beheading is common, but the sharia does not specify how the death penalty should be enforced.
