MAN SHOT INFRONT OF BASIC SCHOOL

A man was shot and injured by gunmen on Tuesday afternoon at Challenge Basic School in Montego Bay, St. James.

The incident took place while parents were collecting their children.

The injured man, who is said to be the parent of a student at the school, has been admitted to hospital in serious condition.

A parent who spoke with RJR News expressed concern about the effect the shooting would have on children who witnessed the incident. He also raised concern about the growing violence in Montego Bay.

Some 275 persons have been murdered in St. James since January 1.

These criminals do not care where they get these people at, really in front of a school and children are coming out of school and that’s the time they choose to get him, for whatever reason they decided to kill this man and his at that time picking of his children, now what if he had his children with him at the time, what they would of still fired at him with his children at his side, this is so alarming that criminals doesn’t give two f*cks about people and children.. The government needs to put this a a number one concern and do something about it and get rid of them all, clean Jamaica up quick and fast…

  2. The only thing going to stop the violence in JA is some human rights violations. But only a strong gov’t can go there cause the level of criticism that will follow and threats by international groups takes fortitude to deal with. Serious mass culling of these non-progressive elements is what is required. If the only thing you can do for your nation is murder, maim, and cause general mayhem then you have no place being a part of the society. Dem cussed Duterte and criticized his methods but see the world leaders ended up in The Philippines as part a dem Asian summit, guess they finally felt safe even after criticising his controversial methods.
