One suspect is in custody after a Christmas Day shooting at a Westchester County nightclub left at least two people dead and at least three more wounded.
The Christmas Day shooting occurred at a party at The Mansion nightclub on North Third Ave. in Mount Vernon, N.Y., according to News 12 Westchester.
The shots rang out when the club’s owner attempted to kick out a group of patrons, News 12 reported.
The owner was killed in the mayhem, according to the station.
A prior argument may have sparked the fatal shooting, WABC-TV reported.
Mount Vernon police did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
According to The Mansion’s Instagram page, the club, which doubles as a catering hall, hosts birthday parties, baby showers and weddings.
