Attorney Jennifer Messado is to face the Kingston and St. Andrew Parish Court on September 11 to answer another fraud charge.
Mrs. Messado was charged on Tuesday by detectives from the Counter-Terrorism and Organized Crime Investigation Branch (C-TOC)
She has been charged with forgery and obtaining money under false pretense.
It is alleged that in June 2017, Mrs. Messado prepared an Agreement of Sale for a property without the knowledge and consent of the owners.
She reportedly forged the signature of the mortgagor to facilitate the fictitious transaction and collected US$150,000 as down payment from the prospective purchaser.
