Well-known attorney-at-law K.D. Knight has joined the defence team of dancehall entertainer Ninja Man.
The murder trial of the entertainer continues to be plagued by delays as it was once again pushed back when it was called up in court this morning.
The artiste, whose real name is Desmond Ballentine, was expected to stand trial in the Home Circuit Court today but it had to be pushed back because there is another case before it.
Ninja Man has been before the courts since 2009.
The trial was rescheduled to November 10.
Ninja Man is accused of the March 16, 2009 murder of Richard Johnson.
He is jointly charged with his son Janiel and another man Dennis Clayton.
A fourth accused, Seymour Samuels, has died.

This is an interesting development; especially since it has been alleged that KD Knight refused to represent Kartel.
I wonder if it has to do with perceived innocence.
That is exactly how I am looking at it. Ninja was on a media blitz as of late trying to sanitize his image…
