Norman Manley Airport Schedules Seven-Hour Shut Down For Maintenance Next Week
NMIA Airports Limited says Kingston’s Norman Manley International Airport is to be closed from 9 p.m on Tuesday, April 25 to 4 a.m on Wednesday, April 26 to facilitate necessary maintenance.
The airport operator says during the seven-hour closure, work will be carried out on the main electrical switch gear.
This system is used for the smooth transfer of power supply to the airport’s stand by generators.
As a result of the closure, four flights will be affected:
Passengers are being advised to contact the affected airlines for rescheduling updates.
