OVER 100 PEOPLE KILLED IN CAR CRASHES SINCE THE BEGINNING OF THE YEAR

One hundred and twenty-seven persons have been killed in 117 fatal crashes since the start of this year.

Fatal crashes and fatalities have decreased by ten per cent and fifteen per cent respectively when compared with the similar period January to May 17, 2016.

Pedestrians account for 27 per cent of the road users killed since the start of the year.

Motorcyclists account for 29 per cent of the road users killed since the start of the year.
