A few residents in Maxfield are alleging that Pastor Wright of People’s Church is acquiring property in the area in an unfair way. Mr Wright who is the councilman for the area along is said to be privy to information on properties in the area that owe council taxes. The Pastor then uses the information to personally gain the properties by paying the taxes owed on the land after which the properties are then turned over to him.
