Scores of residents are this morning staging a protest along Spanish Town Road in the vicinity of the Denham Town Police Station in Kingston.
The people say they are angry about several names that police on Tuesday listed as ‘persons as interest’.
“The police come out and post the names of close to 40 persons claiming that they must come in because them wanted for a number of shootings that taking place in the area but many of them are innocent,” said one of the placard-bearing resident.
The residents claim that they will not stop until their voices are heard.
Police in the meantime said several of the people whose names were posted, have turned themselves in and are being questioned at this time.
Ongoing feud between criminal gangs in the area have claimed the lives of at least two people in the past two weeks and injured more than 15 others.

@Caswell, that puts an interesting spin on things. In a funny way, I hope its true because how else do you justify or qualify their actions? People should speak on this if it is so.
