SADAN MULLINGS, WESTMORELAND MOST WANTED KILLED

KINGSTON, Jamaica – Westmoreland’s most wanted man Sadan Mullings, also known as Saddam, was reportedly killed during a gunfight with police this morning.

Mullings, 26, is from Elgin Town in Hanover.

According to a police social media post, an UZI sub-machine gun and a Glock pistol were seized during the incident.

Efforts to ascertain details surrounding this morning’s incident from the Jamaica Constabulary Force’s Corporate Communications Unit (CCU) proved futile.

Mullings was wanted for up to 20 murders in western parishes and also for attacking the police with grenades in St Ann in March.

Reports are that about 9:00 pm on the night of March 23, a team from the Mobile Reserve and Jamaica Defence Force (JDF) was conducting operations at Armadale, Alexandria in St Ann, in search of men implicated in a quadruple murder in Westmoreland.

The police say the lawmen strategically cordoned the premises and instructed the occupants to exit. However, explosive devices were reportedly thrown at the police team.
