A team of police investigators is now in Falmouth, Trelawny at a construction site where a security guard was shot and seriously injured during an argument with another guard early on Friday morning.
Reports of the incident are still sketchy, but it is understood that the guards are from two different security companies.
Sources said there was an argument between the two men, during which explosions were heard.
One of the guards was subsequently found suffering from gunshot wounds.
He was rushed to hospital, where he has been admitted in serious condition.
