A Pennsylvania man is facing drug charges after allegedly trying to pass through security at Philadelphia International Airport with more than three dozen bags of heroin.
He was preparing to board an American Airlines flight to Montego Bay, St. James.
Authorities say Augustine Passanante was at the checkpoint when the body scanner detected an anomaly.
Agents reportedly found Mr. Passanante in possession of 42 bags of heroin and a vial of methamphetamine.
He was taken into custody by the police.
A preliminary hearing is scheduled for July 2.
