TAVARES SON IN LAW CASE TO BE HEARD TODAY

Lawyers representing gang leader Christopher “Dawg Paw” Linton are to begin their defence on Monday at his trial on gun related charges.

Linton is on trial on charges of illegal possession of a firearm and shooting arising from a December 2010 incident in which three persons, including a six year old boy and his mother were fatally shot in Bedward Gardens, St. Andrew.

The prosecution closed its case on Friday.

Prosecutors are relying on a witness who testified that he saw Linton firing on houses in the community on the night in question.
