TEEN THAT KILLED LUCIANO’S SON PLEADS GUILTY

One of the three boys charged following last February’s fatal stabbing of Luciano’s son, Menelik McClymont, is to be sentenced in the Home Circuit Court on April 21.

The sentencing date was set after Nashlyn Anderson, 19, of Ambrook Lane in Kingston, pleaded guilty to manslaughter.

His co-accused, 19-year-old Jerome Coombs of Bob Marley Boulevard in Cooreville Gardens, Kingston, and Camanie Shaw, 19, also of Ambrook Lane, are both maintaining their not guilty pleas and will return to court on May 4.

The trio was arrested and charged after McClymont, a 19-year-old aspiring singer, succumbed to his injuries on February 28. He was stabbed in his back and chest at Parkington Plaza in St Andrew the day before.

It is alleged that he was attacked and beaten by the three men and that during the attack Anderson pulled a knife and McClymont was stabbed.

All three were subsequently arrested and charged.
