Four boys from ages 12 to 15 were taken into police custody Thursday evening following a robbery in St. Thomas.
According to police reports, about 7:30 a woman was walking along the South Haven main road when the 12 year old boy called out to her.
While responding to him, three other boys approached her from bushes.
The woman reported to the police that one of the boys put his hand to his waist touching what appeared to be a firearm and demanded that she give him her handbag.
She acceded to the request and the boys escaped.
A report was made to the Yallahs Police and the boys were caught and taken into custody.
