A teenager is now in custody following the seizure of a firearm and twelve rounds of ammunition during a police operation on Fountain Road, Bath in St Thomas.
According to police reports, lawmen were in the area between 9:30 am and 10:30 am when a premises which was occupied by the teen was searched and a 9mm Glock 40 pistol with a magazine containing twelve 9mm rounds was found hidden in a hole.
Investigations are continuing, the police say.
