Robber Dead after Stolen Bus Falls Over Precipice in St Ann
A man died while another is in the hospital in serious condition after the stolen Toyota Hiace bus they were allegedly driving, in an attempt to escape, fell off a precipice in Cave Valley, St Ann on Tuesday morning.
The dead man has not yet been identified.
Initial police reports are that at about 4 am, the men stole a Hiace bus in Cave Valley. Further reports are that while the men were making their escape, they lost control of the vehicle and it fell over a precipice.
Both men sustained serious injuries and were rushed to the hospital, where one died.
Police sources say that a driver’s license was found on one of the men which contained a Kingston address.
However, both men have still not been positively identified.
The police are continuing with their probe into the incident.
