Three men considered prime suspects in the flare-up of violence in Rockfort, East Kingston, are now in custody.
They were picked up this week during operations in the Kingston East Police Division.
Deputy Superintendent Christopher Brown, Crime Chief for the Division, told RJR News that the suspects have been linked to the violence in the Barnes Road, Commission Road and D’Aguilar Road areas over the last few weeks.
The men are now under investigation for murders and shootings.
DSP Brown said the cops are searching for three other suspects. They are Anthony Johnson, otherwise called Screw, Andrew Facey, alias Andrew Phang and Dwayne Barrett, also known as Nookie.
DSP Brown has urged the men to surrender.
