TROUPE EMPLOYEE KARIMA HUDSON TELLS POLICE SHE WAS NOT AWARE OF THE SHIPMENT

The 25 year old woman, who was named as the consignee for the massive shipment of arms and ammunition intercepted in Miami last month while destined for Jamaica, has been detained by the police.

She was taken into custody after being questioned for more than an hour on Monday by detectives from the Counter-Terrorism and Organised Crime Investigation Branch (C-TOC).

Her attorney, Oswest Senior Smith, described her detention as strange.

“She was informed that she was to be detained on reasonable suspicion of conspiracy to import firearms onto the island,” Smith told RJR News, but declared that “there’s no case that they have managed to mount so far against her.”

It was probably for that reason, he speculated, that so far she has not been charged with a crime.

Mr. Smith is maintaining that his client had no knowledge of the guns and ammunition, which were disguised as food and household items in several barrels.

One hundred and seventeen illegal guns, including several rifles, and more than 200 rounds of ammunition were intercepted by US Border Protection Agents at Miami International Airport last month.

The shipment was reportedly intended for a criminal gang in Montego Bay, St James.

  1. I cannot wait for this to unfold, it is so funny because the man up a top, If you ever did any type of psychology you can look at his words in the post that he knows something and LOL I hope you have money? He is telling everyone to stay away from him because if you don’t and call up him name and he should BUY OUT THIS CASE because that is all the criminals and politicians good for in Jamaica then he is coming for you? No detective on the island should be handling this case period! especially from Mobay, Lord I was hoping MERICA be apart of the investigation down there instead of the corrupt police officers.

  2. As if she going to “know” :D. Barrister shut yu ass because she no done answer the questions, for which there’s a time period…bout strange. Jackass.

Btw, a wonda a who retain yu?

  3. I hope the police dem take both of them phone before it reach this point.. To see If both of them contacting the same person in Florida..

  4. Someone know something, let her talk up. Can you imagine if these had touch the street. How many lifes could have been taken with these weapons.

  5. Likely she knew nothing. Again, who in their right mind would knowingly use their name for such a large importation of weapons into Jamaica. Waste of time to bring her in with her Attorney, since they have no proof she was the person to actually collect those guns and ammunition. Her Lawyer would never let her answer any questions which would implicate her.

  6. Can I ask a question @Anonymous 7:41 is it possible for someone else to go to the warf and clear barrels or goods addressed to other people? I am asking because at least once a year I send things to my sister. She had surgery last year and I had to send it to my nephew because she was in the hospital for almost 3 months after major surgery.
So I again want to know how could they have sent it in this woman’s name if it was not intended for her to pick it up. In order to pick it up the warf needs contact information for the sender and recipient for tracking and notification purposes. Also when the barrels I sent arrived my sister needed her TRN and Photo ID. My nephew had to show his when I put his info on the barrel he could not have picked them up for his mom.
The only other option is if someone sent it in her name without her knowing, but someone in authority at the warf had to be in on it to remove it from scrutiny. They run a tight ship out there (no pun intended). I would really like to know how is it possible.

    1. @ANON 2:57pm: When you ship a barrel to Jamaica, how do they assess Custom Duty on taxable items? Don’t they require the receiver to remove all or most items from the barrel to see if Custom Duty is due? Now tell me, how on gods earth, could 119 guns be able to go through Custom if those 2 barrels and 2 boxes are actually unpacked in front of the Custom Officers?

That should tell you that those barrels and boxes were not meant to be unpacked and/or search if they made it to Jamaica. The unscrupulous Custom Employees would know to remove these barrels/boxes and either remove the guns and deliver them to the criminals or remove these barrels/boxes whole and make their delivery. One one from the outside was suppose t collect these barrels/boxes. Btw, it is very easy to get TRN, Driver’s License, Birth Certificate, Passport, etc. in any name you want. Guns are busted at the wharf very often, have you ever heard of a single individual arrested for any of these discoveries? They all have the name/address of a receiver and in most/all cases, the name/address are bogus.

I friend of mine shipped a high-end vehicle to Jamaica valued at over US$70k and the duty due would be about the same amount. The contact in the US wanted US$5K to avoid paying US$70K in Jamaica. He end up paying US$3k and was able to clear the vehicle in Jamaica without paying another red cent.

  7. @Anonymous 3:33 thanks for the information. I asked because of two reasons. One I had to share my DL passport information to obtain a TRN while living overseas. They were very strict checking my information. Before that, I who was born on the island wanted to request my birth certificate and the Jamaican vital records or registrar made me jump through hoops to get it. Even though I had tons of proof I was born there, attend some school there they gave me a hard time. That is why I am wondering how could this all be possible. But I learn now that some people still are able to get things done in back door deals and those of us that are trying to obtain things legally and honestly it’s a joke… smh
