The University of Technology-based School of Computing and Information Technology Students’ Representative’s office has extended condolences to the family and friends of Rhojay McLean, who was found hanging from a tree at his Cooreville Gardens, St Andrew home on Thursday.

The 20-year-old, whose body was discovered by neighbours about 8:00 am, was a third-year student at the institution.

“Words seem inadequate to express the sadness we feel at the tragic passing of Rhojay. The days ahead will be difficult, but may mountains of love surround the family, and all others impacted. Rhojay was a gift to those whose lives he touched. Our hearts stand with you,” a media release from the school said
