A 37-year-old woman has been arrested and charged for fleecing close to $63 million from a company in Mandeville, Manchester.
According to reports, the woman, Taneka Stewart-Blake of an Old Harbour, St Catherine address, was a manager at a prominent business place in Mandeville between December 2008 and December 2015.
It’s reported that over that time, she misrepresented the daily sales at the company and pocketed over $62,750,000.
The matter was reported to the Fraud Squad and an investigation launched.
Stewart-Blake was arrested and charged on Monday, March 21 and is to appear before the Corporate Area Criminal Court on Wednesday, March 30.
She has not been offered bail.
