A BULAWAYO man and his wife have fled from their big house in Pumula South allegedly after being tormented by a goblin that the man brought from South Africa.
The woman, Fisiwe Banda, dragged her husband, Sibusisiwe Ntunga to court seeking annulment of their marriage, saying she could not take any more of the invisible being.
She told magistrate Victor Mpofu that the creature started tormenting the couple after she discovered muti that had been hidden by her husband in the house.
She said her husband has also fled, leaving the house uninhabited.
Ntunga said he did not oppose his wife’s application and was prepared to give her all the property in the house if she wanted to leave.
He said he would keep the house since his wife claimed there was a goblin in it.
The magistrate granted the annulment and said Banda could have the house and Ntunga should take the house.
