WTF AFRICA- HUSBAND DROPS SECOND WIFE BOMB IN COURT

A MUTARE woman was left shell shocked after her husband revealed the existence of a new wife and child in court.

Margaret Borerwe got the shock of her life after she had dragged her customarily wedded husband Natural Borerwe to court claiming $400 maintenance for herself and two children.

Mrs Yeukai Chigodora presided over the matter.

All hell broke loose after Margaret told the court that Borerwe gets $1500 monthly from his thatching business.

Natural differed and told the court that his wife was lying since he had two other dependants besides herself and their two children.

“I can afford just $200 monthly for my children’s upkeep because I have since married another wife and we already have a child. Yes, she did not know the existence of the other children until today.

“My new wife is well up, she is the one who has been looking after me because my business is seasonal,” he said.

Asked on whether she knew the existence of her husband’s new wife and child, Margaret said only knew of it recently when he shouted at her that he had a new and better wife.

“We were exchanging words yesterday when he shouted that he had a new wife and I thought he was joking,” she said.

However, she insisted that Natural could afford the $400.

“He thatches gazebos for most schools and houses in the city and around Manicaland. He charges $300 per gazebo. He can afford the $400,” she said.

He was ordered to pay $250.
